Arcade Fire is booked to play YouTube's first ever music awards show next month.
The inaugural YouTube Music Awards are slated to take place November 3rd in New York City, and will honor the online video site's most popular songs, artists, and clips.
In addition to Arcade Fire, the event will also feature live performances from Lady Gaga and Eminem. Jason Schwartzman will host the ceremony, while filmmaker Spike Jonze will serve as creative director.
The YouTube Music Award nominations will be unveiled October 17th, at which point fans will be able to vote for their favorites by "liking" or "sharing" the nominated videos.
