CONGRESS wants to put a TAX ON CELLPHONE PORN

Lawmakers are reportedly working to create a bill that would tax the porn on your phone, CBS 5 in Phoenix reports. Similar legislation is apparently also in the works in other states.

According to their story, the trend stems from the belief that porn is a public health problem, and also a contributing factor in the rise of sex trafficking.

In order to combat this issue, Arizona state lawmakers are weighing the proposal of a $20, one-time tax per device for the privilege of watching porn. The bill could also be introduced to federal legislators next month. The first draft of what is called the Human Trafficking Prevention Act can be found here, and lists a wide range of reasons why the Grand Canyon State feels compelled to tax your treasured adult entertainment.
