It was quite the shock when news hit in 2009 that 32 year old Brittany Murphy had died suddenly. She was so thin. Was it drugs? Was it an eating disorder? It had to be something. She was too young. When the L.A. County Coroner's office released an official cause of death, it was ruled natural causes, due to a combination of anemia, pneumonia, and the medication she was taking to treat the illness.
Then five months later, Brittany's husband, Simon Monjack was found dead at 40. Cause of death? Anemia and pneumonia. Seems a little coincidental doesn't it. Brittany's father was able to order private toxicology tests that suggest the presence of ten metals above the World Health Organization's "high" standard. Those metals are commonly used in rat poisoning and pesticides. More at Huffington Post.
