Hey, isn't that the girl from The Eagle? Yes, it is!
What is she doing at The Edge? She was wooed!
Will she continue with Loud and Local on The Eagle? Yes!
Is she very excited about this brand, spanking new relationship with KDGE? Of course!
Does she feel like this is a form of inbreeding? Maybe, but I'm (I mean, she's) cool with it!
Are all of your questions answered? If yes, stop reading.

The Details
I was born....oh wait a minute, that's boring. Ahem...
102.1 and 97.1 are sisters (or maybe step-sisters!). Sometimes, things change in families. Children grow up, or they move away, or new family members join! Anyway, it's one, great, big, blended radio family! The last five years I've spent at The Eagle have been incredible and I've been extremely lucky to have had so many good times there. I have a bit of history with The Edge. I co-hosted mornings for an entire week a few years ago! I also reported afternoon traffic for The Edge (and The Eagle, and Lone Star, and 1190 am) from 2009-2011.
I began working mornings on The Eagle in May of last year, and honestly, feared survival! I'm not really an early-bird! It took (A LOT) of time to adjust, but somehow, it happened! Then something else happened. I was asked if I'd like to co-host mornings with Kade! YES! I was also ensured that I would be able to keep my precious little baby, Loud and Local. Mark will continue with The Local Edge and dude rock and girly rock (yes, Mark knows!) will continue to co-exist in local music harmony!
Soooo, there you have it! Our inbred, little radio story! ;)
