Meet Lucky, a delightful 4-year-old, 17-pound Chihuahua mix waiting for you to dote on him forever! This little cutie came to us missing his left eye, due to a past trauma. He doesn’t let it slow him down though! He can run, play, and cuddle with the best of them! He is a fun guy who enjoys skipping about the dog parks, chomping down on squeaky toys, being held, petted and dancing for treats! That’s right! He’s got some moves! If you give Lucky a biscuit or two, he will gladly show off his skills! He was surrendered to the SPCA of Texas on October 28th after some Good Samaritans found him wandering about their neighborhood and could not keep him. Lucky can be a little shy at first, but once he gets to know you, he is a little sweetheart! According to his previous owner, Lucky is OK with kids. He can be a little particular about his canine friends, so if you are considering adopting him and have another dog, Lucky would love to meet them first! Did you know that you can bring your currently vaccinated dogs to the shelter to meet potential pets like him? Lucky has been neutered, Heartworm tested (he’s negative), micro-chipped, and received his age- appropriate vaccinations. Would Lucky be the perfect dog for your family? Come and meet him today! #123320

I like fuzzy things!
Inca was featured on June 13th and is still in need of her forever home. Inca is a beautiful, delightful 3-year old Domestic Short Hair Mix. She's lots to love at 14 pounds with a pretty black coat and playful green eyes. Inca was transferred to the SPCA of Texas from the Austin Humane Society on March 12th. She's been looking for a foverever home for so long now! The good news is that she's been rooming with other cats at the SPCA Shelter, so as long as introductions are made properly, Inca is okay with other cats! Inca's sweet nature makes her a favorite among SPCA workers. She loves cuddling and having her head/chin scratched. She shows her happiness with purrs and making biscuits with her paws. If you want laid back, Inca's for you. She loves spending the day lounging in the sun, looking out the window, and snuggling in a comfy bed. When she is not relaxing, Inca is quite playful! She LOVES toys, especially ones that hang so she can bat them with her paws! Inca would fill your life with laughter, love, and snuggle time! #112758
Simon was featured on Music in the Mornings on June 31st. He is a handsome, mature 6 year old, 9 pound, Domestic Medium Hair mix. Simon's coat is black, white, and silky! He has gorgeous golden eyes and a face framed by cute white whiskers and a white spot on the tip of his nose! Simon seems a bit shy at first, but once he knows you, he's as sweet as can be! Simon's favorite activities are having his chin sctratched. He will return your kindness with a purr and a few love biscuits. He's also an understanding gent who will meow back when you speak to him. Like Inca, Simon loves to snuggle in a comfy bed. He also loves to have his silky coat brushed, and because he's a boy, he loves to explore and bat at toy mice! Simon was surrendered to the SPCA of Texas on March 30 because he previous owner was allergic to him. :( Simon very much enjoys people, but he prefers a single pet home. He wants to be the man your life! #113271
Inca has been spayed and Simon has been neutered. Both Simon and Inca are litter box trained and FIV/FeLV tested (both are negative). They've been micro-chipped and have both received their age-appropriate vaccinations. Simon and Inca are V.I.P.s (Very Important Pets) because they have been waiting for their new, loving families for more than 30 days; and therefore, have a special, lower adoption price.
