Yes it has finally happened..The Mighty Pumpkins have once again risen..The new album "Oceania" picks up where the Pumpkins left off with Teagarden by Kaleidyscope. The songs seem to inner-twine together peacefully and methodically. If your looking for old school poppie type Pumpkins, this is not it. You'll be taken on a journey through Pumpkin Land with songs like My Love Is Winter, Pale Horse, Oceania, Quasar and a whole lot more. Rumor has it when the Pumpkins hit the road they'll be playing the new album in it's entirety and then moving onto the older songs. Overall you will enjoy kicking back with the headphones on and enjoying a glimpse into the current life of Billy Corgan and the Smashing Pumpkins..We were lucky enough to have them play some for IHeart Radio. What up. so the other day I had the chance to chat with Sonny from P.O.D. about the new album Murdered Love(in stores 7/10), about the new tour, Head talking with his old bandmates from Korn, taking a cruise and hanging out with his son. Yep that's right. all you Smashing Pumpkins fans out there will now have brand new record to pick up. Oceania is scheduled to be released on June 9th from EMI...as you may or may not know, Billy was releasing 44 songs for free via the SmashingPumpkins website, this was part of the Teagarden project. However out of the 44 songs I think we've gotten about 12 or 13 of them. Well now it's time for a new album. We shall see if the remainder of the 44 free songs ever show up on the web. Either way I'm very stoked to get a new album. here's the track listing:

So today we were blessed today and had Rockstar Games come by the station, yes it was Couzin Ed..they were showing off the new Max Payne 3 game...soooooooo cool...they invented Bullet Time-it's slow mo Hong Kong action movie type style where you can actually see every bullet and better target your enemies. I shot someone with a shotgun and you could see every ball flying through the air as it totally demolished this guy. so awesome. They also hung out in Brazil to make this game as real as possible. Scanning local residents faces and clothing, paying off local gangs to visit inside favelas, recording voices and more..You can play as Max or as his partner in multiplayer mode...and you can even put out a vendetta on someone...very nice..It's dropping in stores on May 15th for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. check out this killer trailer!

So I picked up the new Gotye album Making Mirrors..Let me just say, go pick it up. Great album. Not sure if you saw this but they were on SNL the other night. even live...go see them the next time there in town..check out the vid..

it's time to get pumped up for the big show!

Yep it's getting close. Borderlands 2 is almost here. Borderlands 1 was very awesome, other than the achievement that was next to impossible to get. This game has killer online activities and some of the most kick ass Shotguns/Weapons I've ever played with. check out the killer trailer! 

Fun. were on Conan the other night..this is a great song and you can see them when they come to the House of Blues on 3/21. it's gonna be a great show. check out this video from Conan. good stuff.
