2008 Kiwanis Butterfly Festival

The 2008 Kiwanis Butterfly Festival will be held beneath the pavilion in the Southlake Town Square September 4th through the 7th.  Attendees will have the opportunity to explore a 600 square foot landscaped mesh tent populated with hundreds of Texas butterflies.  Butterfly experts will host educational seminars detailing the lifecycles of the different butterflies.  At the conclusion of the event on Sunday the 7th the butterflies will be released directly from the pavilion.  This event will raise funds for local children's charities, including the Children's Miracle Network.
