My name is Daniel. I love to write comedy and I love stand-up and Improv. I work in radio and im still tryin to figure out what I wanna do when I grow up. I recently went back to school and I love every second of it especially being surrounded by 18-24 year old chicks who actually have goals in life. I hate the material chicks in this city and I stay away from that whole stuck up Dallas scene. I do enjoy bars that play loud music and YES, I enjoy some karaoke. Seeing new live bands is one of my favorite things to do.
What I have learned so far in life...People are gonna let you down but that shouldn't make you a jaded person. Always remember that there are great people out there. Give more than you receive in every aspect of life, and the universe and God have a way of paying you back.
"A morning of awkwardness is far better than a night of loneliness"- Hank Moody
I love my family and I wouldn't be half the person I am without them. Im single with no kids and plan to keep it that way for awhile until I meet my soul-mate or end up having a night of shame with a random.
Thanks for listening to me and If I offend you.....then I've done my job!
This is a collage I made from dropping off water in Moore, Ok. The bottom left is the pic of the woman and her daughter looking for anything salvageable from their home.
The watertower of Moore when you first drive into the city was untouched.
And easily my favorite picture was of the American flag that was waving in the air that someone fashioned on a stick at the site of a neighborhood that was completely destroyed. Made me proud of my country and the soul, heart, and passion we possess as Americans to band together and rebuild bigger and better than before.
This picture really affects me emotionally. Driving to drop off food and water to a church in Moore, OK and I see a woman and her little daughter searching for anything salvageable at what was once her home.
The little girl is hard to see but she's a few feet away from her mom who's wearing the blue shirt.
I honestly felt guilty taking a pic of such a vulnerable moment and it took me about an hour to decide whether or not I was gonna post it.
I decided to post it because if just one person sees this and if it makes you more aware of how bad it is in Moore and if it compells you to donate food, money, water, or blood, then I will have no regrets posting the pic.
This is how we do it in Garland!!! G-town!!!!
