Raconteur, porn star and hedgehog about town, Ron Jeremy, was hospitalized with an aneurysm in his heart and will have to stay in the hospital for the next few weeks. His family has been updating fans on his progress here

I love Ron Jeremy's EYES. He has the most beautiful eyes. I know he staked his claim in porn but I preferred and loved, loved, LOVED his work outside of it most notably on The Surreal Life, especially the dynamic energy between him and Tammy Faye Baker which was mesmerizing.

The documentary about him  is compelling, riveting and highly entertaining. Nick Ravo's Salon piece from 1997 is one of my favorites and a genuinely marvelous read about all things Ron Jeremy.  If you get a chance grab his.... autobiography: The Hardest (Working) Man in Showbiz
