UPDATED: Back in February I posted a tremendous Dutch video of two men who went thru a child birth simulator and how it affected them. Now two smug self satisfied American knuckleheads have attempted it and received a valuable lesson in empathy. I enjoyed their experience though it would have been more realistic if they were naked from the waist down, feet in stirrups with strangers hands all over their nether regions. It is astonishing the change in their attitudes. Every father to be should have to go thru this experience

 The Dutch have a tv show called Proefkonijnen (Guinea Pigs). The hosts wanted to know what giving birth feels like and were hooked up to electrodes that simulate contraction pains. They laughed and then they cried. The guy operating the mic laughs maniacally at one point.

The resulting video is a fascinating spectacle and lets mark the date 2/6/13 and see how long it takes Hollywood to bring this show to America
