I hope you’ll come to the regular season finale this Saturday when we take on the St. Louis Blues at 7 pm. It’s Fan Appreciation Day, and the team gives out a lot of random prizes to fans in attendance. If you are looking for something fun to do – come cheer us on!
Happy Easter to everyone, in advance. Come see the Stars on Saturday night, but make sure you get out and enjoy this weather!
Enjoy your weekend! Go Stars!
Hey - wanted to ask your help on something too. EA Sports makes that great video game - NHL '12. I'm sure many of you play it. Well, for this Fall's edition (NHL '13), they are having fans decide who will be on the cover of the video game with on-line voting. They have two players from every team to begin the voting and I am paired against teammate Loui Eriksson. Voting begins today, so log on to http://covervote.nhl.com and vote for me! Thanks for your support!

Goodness, this race just keeps getting tighter and tighter. The way things are going, this will probably go to the last day of the season.
We had a big win last night in Edmonton! We needed it to keep pace with the rest of the West and give ourselves the best chance to get back in the playoffs. The two games remaining vs. San Jose will undoubtedly be huge. What a race! This is what it is all about.
It was a great weekend before we left on the trip. I saw that the Girl Scouts had a cool flash mob before the Calgary game on Saturday and Steve Ott’s inaugural bike rally went really well. Several teammates joined him at Strokers afterwards. I give a lot of credit to Steve as the effort earned some good money for the Dallas Stars Foundation. Great job!
We also honored former teammate Karlis Skrastins before the game on Saturday. It was incredibly emotional. He was such a good teammate, father and husband. His wife Zane and his three beautiful daughters were there. There were tears and emotions but life goes on. Karlis was a good man. He is missed.
And remember there are two big home games next week. We hope that you will come out and support us! Let’s do this right and win the division!
