HOW DO I SUBMIT MY BANDS MUSIC FOR THE LOCAL EDGE?
Send original songs preferably, but I also don’t mind hearing a good cover either.

If you send me your song, I will listen to it. I don't always have time to email you back though. If I like it, I'll play it and I'll email you to let you know when you can expect to hear it on the show.
WHAT KIND OF MUSIC ARE YOU LOOKING FOR?
Good music. I like indie, alternative, folk, electronic, experimental, power slop. Maybe not power slop.
HOW DO YOU DECIDE WHAT TO PLAY ON THE LOCAL EDGE?
If it’s good, I’ll play it (as long as your band is from the DFWd area). I will also try and email you when your song is going to be played on The Local Edge so you can tell all your friends/fans/family to listen.
WHAT QUALIFIES YOU TO BE THE ONE TO CHOOSE WHAT GOES ON THE LOCAL EDGE?
What qualifies anyone to say what should be played on the radio? Good music is good music. I’ve loved music all my life, and I’d like to think that I have a pretty good ear for stuff that others will dig.
HOW LONG IS IT GONNA TAKE YOU TO LISTEN TO OUR STUFF?
I promise I do listen to EVERY submission that comes across my desk.
WE WROTE YOU AND YOU DIDNT ANSWER. WHAT’S THE DEAL?
I’m usually pretty good about answering emails, but if for some reason I don’t answer you in a reasonable amount of time, holla back at me.
WHAT CAN WE DO TO BUTTER YOU UP/PERSUADE YOU TO PLAY OUR STUFF?
Absolutely nothing. If you send me an amazing jam, I’m gonna play it. Honestly, nothing is going to make me happier than to play your song on the radio and hopefully make you and your band famous someday.
